After much thought (and $30 per month in hosting since 2010), I have decided to officially retire the Memoirs of a Single Dad website. I’m no longer a single dad and don’t ever plan on posting on the site. Memoirs of a Single Dad really meant a lot to me, though. I decided not to just take it down, but rather, I migrated all of the relevant articles to Dadtography.com and redirect to my new site.
What is Memoirs of a Single Dad?
Memoirs of a Single Dad was a blog about single parenting founded by me in 2010. At that time, I was a divorced single dad of just over five years and was trying to make his way through the dating scene all while maintaining a presence in his son’s life. I would come to learn many lessons – not only about dating but about parenting, co-parenting and relationships in general.
In December of 2011, I published my first book, Memoirs of a Dating Dad. While the book isn’t a pure memoir, nor is it a pure how-to or self-help book, it touches on both, guiding the reader through twelve chapters and sixteen real-life dating experiences that helped shape my opinion on dating as a single parent. Thankfully, I found my match in 2010 when I met JenB online (of all places).
Dadtography.com is my new blogging venture and focuses on the visual side of parenting. Dadtography is actively seeking partnerships with brands and other bloggers. Click here to contact me if you’re interested in a sponsorship or contributing to the site.
