This is a 100% real, 100% authentic review. Dadtography was not compensated in any way for this review.

The Case IH Steiger 600 Pedal Tractor is one of the tractors that are made with a modern feel. It features 600 KP (that’s Kid Power – we made that up) that sits atop over 20 tons of steel (or 50 pounds of metal and plastic). Truly made for durability, the tractor may not be able to help out in the field but it can be a lot of fun around the yard for kids. Although it carries a common design that has an articulated rear steering, the tractor is made in a way that it becomes easy to maneuver in tight spaces. Even though it is a toy, the Case IH Steiger 600 is made with an authentic styling typical of Case IH that can make any kid imagine they are behind the wheel of a real Steiger of their own.

Features of the Case IH Steiger 600 Pedal Tractor

  • Front chain driven
  • Front fenders
  • Articulated body and steering
  • Weighs 50.670 pounds
  • Made of a metal body
  • Has rubber tires coupled with metal rims
  • An adjustable plastic seat
  • Measures 34 x 17 x 22 inches
  • Hitch for trailer attachment

The tractor is a 4WD model that is very close to a true-to-life tractor from Case IH. It is designed with authentic graphics such that the case and color are all similar to the real products of the same type from Case IH. The tractor is easy to pedal while its steering is well articulated to make it easy for kids to enjoy driving it around. With its design, it adds an exciting dimension of fun to the category of wheeled toys.

The dimensions, as recommended by Case IH, make the toy appropriate for kids aged at least 3 years. Its pedaling is made to make it easy for kids to drive it even with a trailer attached. For this purpose, Case IH included a hitch so that an optional steel trailer or wagon can be attached for added fun and functionality, just as it is with the real tractors.

Pros

The Case IH Steiger 600 Pedal Tractor has a solid body design that makes it durable. It is good for kids’ handling while learning. In addition, the weight makes it light for kids to pedal while having fun. The adjustable seat also makes it accommodative for growing kids who still want to have fun driving the Steiger.

Cons

The tractor is known to have a cumbersome steering that can frustrate kids, especially those learning how to control it.
