10 of the Best Hotels for Birthday Parties in Orlando
Is it that time of year again for yourself or someone close to you? One of the best ways to celebrate a birthday is with a stay at an awesome hotel. But not all hotels are created equally, especially when it comes to hosting a birthday party celebration.
Orlando has some of the best hotels in the country, if not in the world. Here is a list of our very favorite hotels to celebrate a birthday party. This list is mostly geared toward adult birthdays, but many of these would be great for a teen or child's birthday as well. Let us know what you think!
The Grove Resort Orlando
14501 Grove Resort Ave, Winter Garden, FL 34787
The Grove Resort Orlando is a relatively new property located just west of the gates to the Walt Disney World Resort.
It's a secluded, family-friendly resort with three pools, a giant hot tub and a full-featured, guest-only water park.
The Grove has everything you'd expect in a luxury resort:
- 1, 2 & 3 bedroom suites up to 1,544 sq. ft
- Full working kitchens
- Multiple restaurants and eateries, including a pool-side establishment called Longboard Bar & Grill
- Pool-side food & beverage service
- A family fun center
- A spa
- A fitness center
- Outdoor activities on Lake Austin
If you haven't visited The Grove Resort Orlando you really should check it out for your next vacation or staycation. We also wrote up a full review of The Grove Resort Orlando.
Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress
1 Grand Cypress Blvd, Orlando, FL 32836
The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is an excellent property located literally right next to the Walt Disney World resort area.
When it comes to the Grand Cypress as a birthday party spot, this hotel has a lot going for it:
- It has an AWESOME lagoon-style pool
- It has good on-property restaurants
- It has a happening bar inside the hotel
- It even has a Marilyn Monroe Spa on property!
In addition to the awesome features of the hotel and property, the Hyatt Grand Cypress offers shuttle service to Disney World and they actually offer some pretty affordable deals as well!
Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World
10100 Dream Tree Boulevard, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32836
The Four Seasons Resort at Walt Disney World is yet another top-notch hotel property located very close to the park. I've yet to have a bad experience at a Four Seasons hotel, personally and this one makes for a great option to celebrate a birthday party.
One unique offering the Four Seasons has that not every hotel on this list offers is a Disney Character Breakfast on-site at the hotel! There are a lot of Disney perks if you decide to stay at the Four Seasons, but that's not all they offer.
The Four Seasons has an awesome pool that actually includes a lazy river on property as well. If you're looking for more of a peace and quiet birthday party stay, they have a secluded adults-only pool (shown here) to cut down on the noise so that you can enjoy your day.
Last but not least, and speaking of peace and quiet, Four Seasons hotels are known for their spa amenities and this hotel doesn't disappoint. Spend a day pampering yourself and then hit up one of the on-property bars or restaurants to cap off your special day.
Hilton Orlando Convention Center
6001 Destination Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32819
You may not realize it, but one of the best hotels in Orlando for (adult) birthday party stays is actually right next to the Orlando Convention Center. Yes, Orlando is known as a tourist destination, but we also host a lot of conventions.
Whether you're here for business or pleasure, the Hilton Orlando Convention Center is a great place to spend a birthday weekend.
First and foremost, it's situated in one of the best locations in Orlando if you want to get out at night. International Drive has a TON of restaurants and bars within a reasonable walking distance or short Uber ride, offering probably more nightlight options than some of the other hotels on this list.
Another reason this is a great potential birthday party option is that the family can hang out at the hotel while mom or dad is working or at the convention center and then spend the evening or weekend together as a family!
Like the other hotels on this list, the Hilton Orlando Convention Center has an awesome pool with a lazy river, available private cabanas, a relaxing spa and some pretty good on-site restaurants and bar options.
Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort
5800 Universal Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819
Let's not forget about the other awesome resorts and attractions in Orlando. If you're looking for an exciting place to spend your birthday party, the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Resort may be just the place for you.
First of all, it's a Hard Rock hotel, so you know it's going to be a great place to have a good time. Second of all, it's right on property at the Universal Orlando Resort, so you're just a short walk from the parks and Universal Citywalk as well!
The Hard Rock Hotel has some awesome room options, but as a guest of the hotel, you also get some pretty great perks as well, such as early park entry, priority seating at restaurants, shopping perks and more.
Of course, there are concerts to be seen at Hard Rock, if that's your thing. If it's not, the pool is top-notch, there's a video game room, a gym and lots of activities for all ages right inside the hotel.
Waldorf Astoria Orlando
14200 Bonnet Creek Resort Ln, Orlando, FL 32821
If theme parks and an exciting birthday aren't your thing, that's cool, too. Here's an option if you're looking for a more up-scale birthday party hotel in Orlando - the Waldorf Astoria Orlando at Bonnet Creek.
The Waldorf, as you'd expect, pretty much has it all, from a spa escape to a relaxing day at the resort's pool, the Waldorf Astoria Orlando is a great place to relax on your special day.
If you're up for a few activities, Disney World is still close and there's also world-class golf available at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando as well.
Disney's Yacht Club Resort
1700 Epcot Resorts Blvd, Orlando, FL 32830
Okay, skewing back a bit more in favor of birthday hotels that are kid-friendly (and close to Disney World), I'd like to introduce you to Disney's Yacht Club Resort (the Beach Club is right next door, too).
There are really two things I primarily like about the Yacht Club Resort - the pool and the location.
The pool at the Yacht Club is awesome. Seriously. It's a huge resort-style pool that is available only to guests, but it also has a super fun water slide that starts way out by the lake and slides you into the pool area.
Like many Disney Resorts, the Yacht Club is a themed resort and the theme is, you guessed it, a yacht club!
In addition to the pool, you can't beat the location and atmosphere at the Yacht Club. It's within walking distance from Disney's Boardwalk area, which offers everything from an ice cream treat to restaurants. Don't underestimate the atmosphere at this resort. It's really hard to beat the charm and the sunsets here!
Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek
14100 Bonnet Creek Resort Ln, Orlando, FL 32821
It's time to add another Bonnet Creek resort to this list - this time it's the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek resort that gets added to our list of the best hotels for birthday party stays.
The Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek is one of the most popular hotels in Orlando for stay-cations, and for good reason. It's a family-friendly resort, with a good location that has a lot to do and it's usually pretty reasonably priced as well.
There are a lot of great on-site dining options at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, including La Luche Italian restaurant, Zeta Asia, Bull & Bear steakhouse and more.
The pool at the Hilton Bonnet Creek is hard to beat as well, with a winding lazy river for you or the kids and an expansive pool deck with ample seating, both in the sun and shade.
Marriott's Grande Vista
5925 Avenida Vista, Orlando, FL 32821
Rounding into the final stretch of our list of best birthday party hotels in Orlando, we just had to include a Marriott property on this list and what better option than Marriott's Grande Vista?
The Marriott Grande Vista is known for its golf villas, but that's not all there is to this resort, for sure. This property is one of the most inviting hotels in the area, with a centrally-located resort pool, a relaxing spa, fitness center and on-site dining options.
Oh, and don't forget to hit up the Mist Pool Bar for your relaxing (or exciting) day at the pool!
Caribe Royale Orlando
8101 World Center Dr, Orlando, FL 32821
Last, but certainly not least, one of my families favorites in Orlando is the Caribe Royale Orlando.
The Caribe Royale is a huge resort just a few miles from the entrance to Walt Disney World. One of the best parts about the Caribe Royale is often the price. If you're looking for resort that won't break the bank, Caribe has great pricing options, especially off season and for Florida residents.
The Caribe Royal is an all-suite hotel, as well, so the rooms don't lack room to stretch out a bit.
Like the other options on the list, the Caribe Royale offers the following key features and amenities:
- Resort-style pool (fun, although not the most impressive on this list)
- The Island Spa for on-property relaxation
- In-house restaurants including their flagship The Venetian Chop House
