Blue Bird Bake Shop in Orlando, Florida provided me with free samples of their muffins for this review. I gladly paid for the cupcakes.

What is Blue Bird Bake Shop?
Blue Bird Bake shop is owned and operated by Jeff – a baked goods wizard of epic proportions. Jeff and Blue Bird originally started off delivering cupcakes to various cafes and teahouses in the Orlando area.
That’s how I came to know and love Jeff and his baked good was through my regular visits to Pom Pom’s Tea House & Sandwicheria near downtown Orlando. Due to the popularity of Blue Bird’s cupcakes, Jeff was able to open his own storefront in the Audubon Park Garden district of Orlando on Corrine Drive near Baldwin Park.Hey #Orlando - If you haven't tried @bluebirdbakeshp you're missing out! First – the Cupcakes: A Sweet Tooth’s Dream
Blue Bird started off with a modest line of cup cakes – my two favorites being their Red Velvet and Tuxedo varieties. All of their cupcakes, muffins, scones, cookies and brownies are baked from scratch and in small batches right in Jeff’s kitchen at the bakeshop. This ensures quality, consistency and taste with each and every recipe that Blue Bird offers.

You can check out their entire line-up of cupcakes here. Warning: Do NOT view this on an empty stomach. Your stomach WILL growl!
Enough talk. Show me the goods. Feast your eyes on these lovelies…
Next, the Muffins, Scones & Other Treats
Gosh, it’s difficult to find a good scone outside of New York City, isn’t it? Well, it is in Orlando, anyway. I won’t say that the scones at Blue Bird will take first place in your “Best Scones Evar” list, but they’re definitely in the top 10% that I’ve had locally.
The muffins at Blue Bird are especially good as well. Let’s be honest, we get muffins instead of cupcakes because they make us feel a little bit better about ourselves for scarfing them down. I love the variety of baked goods available at the bakery and muffins are a nice addition.
Variety really is the key here. Blue Bird offers so many choices, from seasonal flavors to, what appear to be “experiments” the bakers concoct from time to time. There are the “usual flavors” that are tried and true, but it’s worth trying something new once in a while too. You likely won’t be disappointed!

Final Thoughts on Blue Bird Bake Shop
I’ve been enjoying Blue Bird cupcakes for years and, God willing, will continue to do so for years. They have the best baked goods I’ve ever tasted in Orlando, hands down. I
blame credit Jeff and Blue Bird for maintaining my gym membership for the past two years and wish him all the success in his shop. If you’re in the area you should check out Blue Bird for a sweet treat and coffee!
