The Holidays: Time for family, for travel and… a good night’s rest?
Thanksgiving has come and gone in the U.S. where an estimated 50 million people traveled 50 miles or more according to the travel industry. That's a lot of people traveling a lot of miles to see friends and family!
The year isn't over, and there's likely more travel still to be done. Our family has made that pilgrimage in years past as well, road-tripping from Florida "back home" to Iowa, making a stop somewhere in either Kentucky or Illinois along the way. We quickly learned which hotels and motels along the way were good stops and which should be skipped.
The average hotel you find along the road doesn't seem to value a good night's rest and yet, that's really the only reason travelers stop. I personally almost came to expect a less-than-restful stay at most places.
Sleep Inn® is different, though. They care about their patrons getting a good night's rest and they obsess over every detail, so much so that they even did a national study just to learn more about how, when and why we snooze the way we do. Their cozy rooms, modern and comfortable bedding, free hot breakfast and other creature comforts really put the finishing touches on a restful night at their hotel.
The Taylor House had a great stay at a newly-renovated Sleep Inn® hotel. Check out their thoughts on the experience they had at Sleep Inn® by Choice Hotels®.
